As Beverley Freemasons’ youngest Craft Lodge we have a wide variety of members from all walks of life, ranging in age from their 20’s to their 80’s. Likewise, our members live all around the area; Beverley, Holderness, Hull, East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.
Above all, we pride ourselves on being a friendly and forward-looking lodge. We meet at the Beverley Masonic Hall on Trinity Lane; so if you’d like to come along and meet us just ask, we’d be glad to show you around …
how we came to be
In 1993, three local Freemasons began to pursue founding a Freemasons Lodge in Beverley. Their idea was to adopt the aims and objectives of the Round Table movement of Great Britain & Northern Ireland (of which our lodge has past and present members) and adapt them to the principles of Freemasonry. The application was sponsored by the Lodge of King Arthur in Ilkley, our “mother” lodge. Two years later, in 1995, this vision became the Ridings Tablers’ Lodge. Our motto is therefore “Adopt, Adapt, Improve”.
In the Ridings Tablers’ Lodge, we have immense pride and gratitude for our Founders, we are lucky to have four who are still active members of the Lodge. But we thank all our founders for their hard work and support, all of us would have less fun & fraternity in our lives without it.
